A trip to Malaysia

Rich in color and contrasts Malaysia with its sun-drenched beaches, enchanting islands, diverse flora and fauna, forest retreats and magnificent mountains, in the heart of Southeast Asia is a land of fascinating sights and attractions. 330,200 sq. km Malaysia is divided into two main parts, Peninsular Malaysia, lies just south of Thailand, and East Malaysia, which is at north of Indonesia on the island of Borneo.

Langkawi, a group of 99 tropical islands lying off the north-western coast of Peninsular Malaysia, the main island of which is known as Pulau Langkawi. These islands are full of fabulous myths and legends of ogres and gigantic birds, warriors, princesses, battles and romance. These islands’ beauty have no match in Southeast Asia, its Telega Harbour Park, Galeria Perdana, Langkawi Crystaal are some places that deserve a visit. Above 2000 meters of sea level Genting Highlands, also known as “The City of Entertainment” is a beautiful hilltop city which provides a cool respite from the hustle and bustle of the city capital. Except this its consistent temperatures between 16 and 23 degrees provide natural air conditioning. Genting Outdoor Theme Park, Chin Swee Temple are the major attractions here. Sarawak, the largest city in Malaysia is the most visited places in Malaysia too. It’s Chinese History Museum, Sarawak Museum, Teu Pek Kong Temple are other attractions here.
